The Dunwoody Police Department is searching for a man in connection with two bank robberies in the area.
Fidelity Bank at 118 Perimeter Center West was robbed at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Feb. 1, and the RBC Bank at 125 Perimeter Center East was robbed a 4:10 p.m. on Jan. 21, according to Dunwoody police spokesman Sgt. Mike Carlson.
In both instances, the suspect handed a note to a teller demanding money. The tellers handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot, Carlson said. At the Fidelity Bank robbery, police said, the suspect was seen getting into a green taxi and leaving the area.
Police describe the suspect as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a heavy black jacket with a hood.
