Four firefighters on administrative leave

Four DeKalb County Fire Rescue personnel are on paid administrative leave pending an investigation of fire personnel allegedly reporting to duty intoxicated during last month’s snowstorm, county officials said.

DeKalb County Public Safety Director William Z. Miller has placed deputy chief William Smith and assistant chief Joseph Tinsley on paid administrative leave, according to DeKalb police spokesman Jason Gagnon. Also, firefighters William Corbett and Capt. Marcus Reed remain on paid administrative leave pending the same investigation.

Totally stupid. If they wanted to drink their favorite brews, then sick out the following day. Don't go to work high or even drunk. Don't put the citizens of the county in fear.

These firefighters need some time off without pay to sober up.
