County sanitation service resumes Jan. 13

DeKalb County Sanitation will resume residential garbage collection Thursday, Jan. 13, for residences that are on Monday/Thursday curbside service, and on Friday for those residences receiving Tuesday/Friday pickup.

Sanitation service will continue Saturday as needed to get to any areas that were inaccessible on Thursday or Friday.

What a joke that was portrayed on the Dekalb County taxpayers. My street is basically level, and a lot of my neighbors shoveled the & ice off their respective sidewalks and driveways. Some of them even shoveled snow and ice off the street, which make our street passable by Tueday.

The semi-lazy bunch at Dekalb Sanitiation could have come down our street with little or no problems, but decided to stay home because they knew that could.

To make an article short instead of long, our garbage as of today (Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011) has YET to be picked up.

Now this is true progess in Dekalb County. In fact, this is the true meaning of what and how Dekalb County does........Nothing at all.
