Police seek help in finding missing teen

The DeKalb County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing juvenile. On Tuesday, May 18, Aja Stroude went missing from the DeKalb County Alternative School located off Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain.
According to detectives, Aja was last seen wearing a white polo shirt and tan pants. She suffers from bi-polar disorder and has been without proper medication since she went missing in May. Aja usually resides with her father at 892 Gatehouse Drive, Apt. C (Kensington Station Apartment Complex). She is described as a 13-year-old Black female, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 250 pounds and has a noticeable scar on her right arm.
