Sunday memorial service kicks off National Crime Victims’ Rights Week
An annual memorial service to commemorate Crime Victims’ Rights Week will be held Sunday, April 22, 7-9 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Decatur, 308 Clairemont Ave.
Refreshments will be offered prior to the event and those interested will have an opportunity to speak with members of the Crime Victim Advocacy Council, and members of the Metro Atlanta District Attorney and U.S. Attorney’s offices.
The memorial service is designed to be a healing event for victims of crime, and a memorial wall of those slain in metro Atlanta from 1991 to present will be on display.
