A memorial service has been scheduled for former county commissioner Kenneth Davis, who passed away on March 1 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Davis, 68, of Stone Mountain, was the owner of Davis Planning. He also was a DeKalb County commissioner for eight years, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur.
Davis was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Lester Davis. He is survived by his wife Lynn; children, Kathryn and Andy; and brother Phil.
The memorial service will be held Thursday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Decatur.
