Missing Lithonia man found in Clarkston

A man with Alzheimer’s who had been missing from his home since 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 was found safe and unharmed at 2 p.m. Jan. 10, according to DeKalb County Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish. Rufus Holcomb, 76, who walked out of his Lithonia home, was found in Clarkston. Police received a call from employees at Kids World Daycare, 1144 North Indian Creek Drive, that Holcomb had been found. He is in the process of being reunited with his family, Parish said.
