Murder suspect arrested

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Squad arrested Alandis Jackson, 21, Jan. 23 at approximately 11:23 p.m. and charged him with the murder of Steven Lewis Jackson. The suspect was taken into custody at 1364 Almont Drive, Atlanta.
Jackson allegedly killed Lewis on Jan. 11 by shooting him in the neck with 12-gauge shotgun at Paradise East Apartments, 1498 Bouldercrest Road, Apt. 115. Police have not yet determined a motive for the killing.
Jackson is currently in custody at the DeKalb County Jail.
